The Arts:
Promoting appreciation of the Arts in music via annual Holiday Concert, and art exhibits of amateur and professional artists. LOOK for our display at Miami International Airport featuring the works from our Let’s DRAW Project in partnership with the Overtown Neighborhood Center.
International Trends & Services:
Providing forums and building “Linkages to a New Legacy” – Linking Women of the Diaspora to the community with self-esteem building techniques; and in conjunction with local sister chapters, host forums at Florida Memorial University for international students.
National Trends and Services:
Promoting Healthy Lifestyle Initiatives including Heart Healthy Seminars, Stroke Prevention and Breast Cancer Awareness Workshops.
Services to Youth:
Projects that work to combat Childhood Obesity- initiatives launched in partnership with FCAA and MDCPS. |
