Historically, The Links, Incorporated has been actively involved in encouraging appreciation of and support for cultural enrichment and the arts. A part of the Links’ mission is to help empower artist to be an integral part of global arts. The plan to continue development of appreciation and support of the arts among the members and to encourage the interest and involvement of youth remains one of the main thrusts of this facet.

  • Art exhibit at the Miami Art Museum
  • The Historic Freedom Schooner Armistad Tour and Reception
  • Establishment of a library at the Miami Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center
  • Donation of Greater Miami Chapter of The Links, Incorporated Collection to the Black Archives History and Research Foundation of South Florida
  • offering young musicians training with seasoned performers culminating in a Summer Concert Series and an Annual Holiday Concert
  • project showcasing talented high school musicians
  • The Let’s DRAW Project in partnership with the Overtown Neighborhood Youth Center
  • Donation of Cultural Enriching Books to the MLK Beverly E. Nixon Library
