The mission of the National Trends & Services facet is to promote academic achievement, economic independence, political empowerment and healthy lifestyles to those individuals who need our support so they can become full participants in the growth of our communities and in our nation. To influence the course of life in the African American communities in the United States is the measure of "true linkdom."
● Links Go Red: An annual seminar designed to promote heart disease awareness.
● AARP Partnership: Links members participate in events and workshops benefitting community members age 50 and older.
● Teen Relationship Building Workshops: Workshop includes discussion of topics such as defining teen relationships, identifying warning signs of abusive/ controlling behaviors and using social media safely in a group forum.
